Northern Wilcher, Democrat, Ossining Town Councilperson

An Ossining resident for the past fifty+ years and small business owner, Northern Wilcher Jr. understands what it means to build relationships with customers through excellent service. His plumbing business allows Northern to help customers by giving them good service at a fair price.

As a small business owner, Northern knows how to make the tough choices necessary in difficult economic times. His extensiive history of community service and volunteerism has given Northern great insight into the needs of the Ossining community. As a Town Council member he has cut spending by 15% last year and an additional 8% this year. Northern says "Now is the time for government to take bold initiatives. That is why I am leading the fight for shared services and consolidation."

Priorities going foward include:

  1. Continue cost cutting inititatives.
  2. Fight for consolidation in courts and Highway/DPW.
  3. Continue to build fund balance by continuing our tough, smart fiscal policies.
