MaryAnn Roberts
Clerk for the Village and Town of Ossining
MaryAnn Roberts is Clerk to both the Village and the Town of Ossining. In this capacity, she is in charge of issuing licenses, coordinating elections, maintaining records, and the recording of Village and Town Board meetings.
Mary Ann Roberts has held the position of Town Clerk since taking office on January 1, 2000. She was appointed Village Clerk for the same term. The Clerk's Office has taken on additional responsibilities for both the Village and Town of Ossining in issuing various licenses, and now issuing Dog Licenses and providing services to our residents. New York State has given up the issuance of dog licenses and now depends on the Clerk's office to provide the service originally done by the State.
Mary Ann has the responsibility of working with the Town Board as well as the Village Board at their Regular and Special Meetings.
MaryAnn has been a resident in the Village of Ossining nearly all of her life and is married with two grown children who have gone through the Ossining School System.
"It is my pleasure working and serving the residents in the many capacities covered in the Clerkâs office as well as other organizations in the Community that I am involved in. I am on the Board of Directors of IFCA, an active member in the Ossining Historical Society and a member of the Jug Tavern." - MaryAnn Roberts
